About Pasadena Concrete Services
Pasadena Concrete Services is a concrete company for Pasadena homes and businesses: driveways and aprons, patios and stamped work, retaining walls, pool decks, steps and walks, and the foundations under additions and ADUs.
What we pour and repair
13 kinds of concrete work, each with its own page: a replacement driveway on a narrow 1920s lot, a wider apron at the street, a backyard patio, a stamped front walk, a pool deck, porch steps, a poured or block retaining wall, a foundation for an addition, the slab under a backyard ADU, and repair or resurfacing for concrete that is cracked on top but sound underneath.
What we don't do: asphalt paving, mudjacking and foam lifting, foundation underpinning, and interior floor coatings. Those are separate trades with their own specialists.
Where the numbers come from
Concrete prices are easy to quote and hard to check, so each figure on this site names its source and date. Concrete prices come from constructlytools' Los Angeles guide (updated May 19, 2026), which puts reinforced driveways and patios at $8 to $15 per square foot, and retaining wall prices from houseprojectcalc's Los Angeles data (2026). The driveway cost page breaks the price down by size, slope and finish.
Rules point back to the City of Pasadena's own departments and code: Public Works for anything at the street, Planning for historic properties and hillside grading, and the stormwater ordinance for new hardscape. When a number such as a fee or a square-footage trigger hasn't been confirmed with the City, the page says so and tells you who to ask. The historic district, hillside wall and soil guides were last reviewed in October 2026.

Where we work
Pasadena first, with separate pages for South Pasadena, San Marino, Altadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, La Cañada Flintridge, San Gabriel and Temple City, each with its own permit office and local rules. The service area page has the details.
Concrete is usually the outside half of a bigger project. For the inside half, we also run Pasadena Bath & Kitchen, a sister site for kitchen and bathroom remodels in the same city.
How a request is handled
