Useful to have ready
- Rough length and width, or a phone photo of the area with a tape measure laid across it
- What the concrete will carry: foot traffic, cars, a work truck, a pool or a building
- Old concrete, asphalt, roots or a stump that has to come out first
- How a truck reaches the spot: driveway width, side-yard gate, overhead lines, a steep approach
- Whether the work touches the street: a wider apron, a new curb cut or the public sidewalk
- Whether the home is in a landmark district or listed as historic, and any engineer's plans for a wall or foundation
Want a number first? The Pasadena concrete cost calculator gives cubic yards and a price range. If the job reaches the street, read the driveway permit guide; for an older home, the historic district rules. The service area page shows where we work.
